Harriet Sena Siaw-Boateng, the embattled former Chief Director of the National Security Council Secretariat has been booted out.
According to reports, Siaw-Boateng has not reported to the office for the past two weeks, citing an official trip to London for a conference as an excuse.
Sena, who should have left the defunct National Security Ministry as Chief Director continued in her role leading to administrative concerns with operatives wondering how she suddenly became the darling of the Mahama government.
In her absence, a new officer has taken over her responsibilities, although he has been operating from a small office space due to Siaw-Boateng allegedly locking up her designated office.
Sources indicate that she has also begun packing out of her office as the transition unfolds.
Following her removal, Siaw-Boateng is reportedly seeking reposting through the Head of the Civil Service.
It may be recalled that Initial attempts to redeploy her to the Ministry of Defence were unsuccessful as she failed to report to her new post on February 4, 2025.
